Summary
CharmCard does not require an account, does not show third-party ads, and does not sell personal information.
Data on your device
The app stores preferences and creative state locally, such as language, audio, haptics, reduced motion, selected templates, messages, draft cards, saved gallery items, and exported cards or recordings you choose to create.
Purchases
Optional template, style, or lifetime unlocks are handled by Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. They may process purchase identifiers, product IDs, entitlement status, anonymous app/user identifiers, device/platform data, storefront, and purchase diagnostics.
Audio, microphone, and sharing
CharmCard may play generated sound and audio textures on your device. The current app does not request microphone permission, record microphone audio, store microphone audio, or upload microphone audio.
When you save, export, record, or share a card, the resulting file is created on your device or passed to the app or service you choose.
Analytics and diagnostics
We may collect limited app events and diagnostics to improve the app, such as app opened, template selected, card previewed, paywall viewed, purchase events, export created, saved card, app version, platform, language, and anonymous experiment assignment.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, camera data, microphone audio, health data, or advertising identifiers for third-party advertising.
Support
If you email us, we receive what you send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device details, and purchase context.
Network use
Core card creation features are designed to work offline after download. Network access may be used for purchases, restore, analytics, remote configuration, diagnostics, updates, and support links.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app, process purchases, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with law, or protect our rights. These may include Apple, Google, RevenueCat, hosting, analytics/remote configuration, update, and email/support providers.
Retention and deletion
Local data stays on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Analytics/support data we control is kept up to 24 months. Diagnostics we control are kept up to 12 months. Purchase records may be kept as needed for access, fraud prevention, disputes, legal, and accounting reasons.
To request deletion of personal information we control, email hello@make.systems with “Data deletion” in the subject. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and other providers may keep data under their own policies.
Children and comfort
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us. CharmCard is a creative greeting card app, not medical care; stop using any animated effect that feels uncomfortable, dizzying, or too intense.
